Job description

Your new company

A holiday resort based in Terengganu owned by Malaysia's largest hospitality company.

Your new role

  • Ensuring internal control compliance and implementing control measures.

  • Updating accounting reports and preparing/reviewing performance reports.

  • Preparing/reviewing the Standard Tax Schedule (STS) annually.

  • Conducting quarterly balance sheet reviews and preparing Standard Accounting Forms (SAF).

  • Addressing finance-related queries from hotel operations, external auditors, and internal auditors.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications (e.g., MIA, ACCA, MICPA, CPA, CIMA).

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Meticulousness, high organization, and strong leadership qualities.
