About the role

Responsible to assist finance managers with administrative and financial tasks, including but not limited to, invoicing, budget drafting, issuing purchase orders, and implementing and managing procurement processes. They are also responsible for writing monthly financial reports and filing the company's taxes.

Your responsibilities
  • Perform month end closing activities
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, including month-end and year-end closing
  • Working with various departments in PO accruals and ensure prompt follow-up on accruals status
  • Prepare weekly cash flow projections
  • Prepare GST returns, assist in Corporate Tax filling for the assigned companies
  • Liase with auditors, tax agents and external service provider
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance of internal controls
  • Assist in ad-hoc admin and finance assignment when required
The experience we're looking for
  • Recognised Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting, CA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Candidates with accounting background in MNCs or audit firms are preferred
  • Microsoft Office literacy essential (strong excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, e.g., sumifs, indirect function, pivot table, v/h lookup, etc)
  • Knowledge of SAP, HFM, Fusion knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge in internal controls and statutory regulations
  • General system fluency; willingness to partner with IT team on upgrades, change requests
  • Right attitude, positive minded & passionate in driving and succeeding in your career.
  • This person is energetic and action oriented. Easily takes up challenges and opportunities and initiates change for better results. Can act with minimum planning/supervision and independently. Has strong achievement orientation, consistently exceedss objectives.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills including coordination skills, very good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Can work under tight deadlines and with minimum supervision enabling delivery of complex projects on time
