Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst / Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of the import and retail sector, with a focus on our operations in Singapore and Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop financial models to support business strategies, pricing decisions, and cost optimizations.
- Analyze financial performance, market trends, and key business drivers to provide actionable insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, merchandising, and supply chain, to drive profitability and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory turnover, and cost structures.
- Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business growth strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Assist in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditure planning.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal control policies.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3-7 years of FP&A experience, preferably in the retail or import sector.
- Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial planning software, and ERP systems (e.g., Autocount, ERP / SAP).
- Experience in the retail sector or FMCG industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage due to interaction with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.
