Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst / Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of the import and retail sector, with a focus on our operations in Singapore and Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
2. Develop financial models to support business strategies, pricing decisions, and cost optimizations.
3. Analyze financial performance, market trends, and key business drivers to provide actionable insights.
4. Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, merchandising, and supply chain, to drive profitability and efficiency.
5. Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory turnover, and cost structures.
6. Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for business growth strategies.
7. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
8. Assist in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditure planning.
9. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal control policies.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. 3-7 years of FP&A experience, preferably in the retail or import sector.
3. Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and business acumen.
4. Proficiency in Excel, financial planning software, and ERP systems (e.g., Autocount, ERP / SAP).
5. Experience in the retail sector or FMCG industry is a plus.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage due to interaction with Chinese suppliers and stakeholders.
