ASSISTANT FACILITY & MAINTENANCE MANAGER

PERTAMA SPRINGROLLS MANUFACTURER (M) SDN BHD

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible to supervise the daily operations work for all factory’s facilities & equipment maintenance carried out by subordinates, including daily trouble-shooting of any unscheduled down-time of facilities and equipment.
  2. Assist Department Head to establish & revise, if necessary, the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure that all maintenance works are performed in proper safety and accordance with regulated procedures.
  3. Participate in any cross-department or function activities for continuous improvement and cost savings.
  4. Lead, guide, and assist the FNE sectional engineer to explore & implement potential improvement/cost-saving projects.
  5. Assist Department Head to establish & control a proper spare parts inventory and ensure good housekeeping of all equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  6. Assist Department Head to establish and execute proper OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and ensure total enforcement, execution, and compliance.
  7. Responsible for the discipline and facilitate the training and development of all F&E employees to ensure that they meet and exceed the requirements of their job descriptions.
  8. Lead and participate in all installations of new facilities and equipment for the factory.
  9. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, or contractors to obtain competitive quotations, scope of works, and assist in carrying out the costing comparison before contract jobs are assigned.
  10. Coordinate and arrange with all external vendors to ensure all contracted services comply with the company’s internal regulations.
  11. Perform any jobs assigned by superiors from time to time.

Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
