Assistant Executive, Quality Monitoring & Assignment Unit (TVET)

Responsible for assisting the operation of the Quality Monitoring & Assignment Unit (QMAU) to ensure all activities related to Quality of Service, Spectrum and Network Monitoring, AA management, and ad hoc tasks are well managed and comply with all SOPs.

Job Accountabilities

  1. Assist and execute measurements for Wired & Wireless Broadband Access Service (BAS) to meet mandatory standards.
  2. Assist and execute measurements of Public Cellular Service (PCS) to ensure compliance with standards.
  3. Assist in Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) investigations (government only) for rectifications.
  4. Manage resources and assets/tools via Barcode Asset Management System (BAMS), such as Nemo Walker Air, Spectrum Analyzer, etc., to ensure monitoring assets are maintained in good condition and ready for use.
  5. Record and file data to ensure proper documentation and asset management in line with 5S principles.
  6. Participate in disaster management activities.
  7. Conduct site audits to ensure spectrum users have valid AA licenses and comply with license conditions.
  8. Perform ad-hoc or planned tasks and assignments from internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering, Science, Laws, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of Emerging Technologies and industry requirements.
  • Understanding of industry changes, laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management and Partnership Management skills.
  • Business Continuity Management and Quality Standards & Assurance knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking skills with problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and a self-starter with strong project management skills.
  • Attention to detail, professional presence, and ability to work under pressure.

The candidate must be willing to work at MCMC Perak State Office and on a contract for one plus one (1+1) year.
