Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Content Regulation Department (CRD), particularly in documentation, case tracking, record management, and coordination of broadcasting-related matters, ensuring smooth departmental functions, efficient case handling, regulatory compliance, and effective support across the CRD workforce.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Support department operations by handling documentation, tracking, and recordkeeping related to new media cases and content governance.
  2. Manage the Director's and unit heads’ calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings efficiently.
  3. Respond to public inquiries and FAQs professionally, tactfully, and discreetly, especially on sensitive issues.
  4. Provide accurate information about department programs and policies; address inquiries and resolve issues or complaints.
  5. Monitor and track ongoing assignments, follow up with Unit Heads, and ensure deadlines are met.
  6. Review documents, highlight irregularities, and alert Management for urgent matters; work closely with departments for operational efficiency and communication.
  7. Organize meetings, prepare materials, and take minutes for records and follow-up.
  8. Coordinate with all CRD units and relevant departments for clear communication and streamlined operations.
  9. Maintain confidential filing systems for physical and digital documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Communication, Office Management, Computer Science, IT, or related field from a recognized university with CGPA 3.00+
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in telecommunications, with knowledge of online content management and broadcasting, and understanding of legal/regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin is an advantage.
