Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre is seeking an Assistant Events Manager to support the Events Manager in developing event and MICE business. You will manage client relationships and ensure smooth planning and execution of events, working closely with hotel departments to deliver exceptional service while achieving revenue targets.
The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in events or hotel sales, with strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

As an Assistant Events Manager, you will support the Events Manager in developing event and MICE business, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth planning and execution of events. You will work closely with clients and hotel departments to deliver exceptional service while achieving revenue and departmental objectives.
Support the Events Manager in achieving departmental sales and revenue targets.
Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Handle event inquiries and assist with proposals, quotations, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
Coordinate event details from initial negotiation and confirmation through to event completion.
Conduct site inspections, hotel tours, client presentations, and pre-event meetings as required.
Liaise with Banquet, Culinary, and other hotel departments to ensure client requirements are accurately communicated and delivered.
Advise clients on venue set-ups, menus, event flow, and other operational requirements.
Assist in overseeing events and ensuring smooth execution and excellent guest experience.
Follow up on client feedback and coordinate service recovery when required.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, accounts, and event details in Delphi or relevant hotel systems.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
Promote hotel facilities and additional revenue opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Events Manager or Director of Events.
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Events, Catering Sales, Conference & Banqueting, or hotel Sales & Marketing.
Experience in a five-star hotel or upscale hospitality environment is an advantage.
Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proactive, energetic, results-oriented, and commercially driven.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi or hotel sales systems is an advantage.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
