Assistant Director - Data Center Projects

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and decisive Assistant Director to oversee the execution of Data Center projects, with a core focus on Testing & Commissioning, resource management, and client liaison. You will play a critical role in ensuring that every phase of the projectfrom planning to handoveris executed with precision and alignment to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and record on-site work progress, particularly during Testing & Commissioning, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and compliance benchmarks.
  

• Lead resource planning and reallocation based on real-time project needs to ensure efficient deployment of manpower and equipment.
  

• Exercise hiring and termination authority, maintaining a high-performance culture aligned with project objectives.
  

• Manage client relationships and expectations, serving as the main point of contact for escalations.
  

• Establish and enforce SOPs across departments to ensure Data Center design and construction are aligned and well-executed from day one.
  

• Coordinate across Design, Construction, and Operations teams to meet engineering and delivery milestones.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP Engineering, with direct involvement in Data Center projects.
  

• At least 3 years in a senior leadership or site management role.
  

• In-depth understanding of Testing & Commissioning processes, site operations, and stakeholder communication.
  

• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to make high-impact decisions.
  

Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors/contractors.
