As a Country Manager, you are responsible for maximizing PROTON’s international market share and profitability by developing strategic partnerships, implementing effective marketing and branding plans, managing marketing cost efficiency, and providing technical knowledge and support to international distributors.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for region markets assigned in implementing a yearly viable Business Plan, Pricing strategy, Volume Plan and Budgeting in line with Division's key Initiatives as stipulated in the KPI and AMP, covering Sales and After Sales function, ordering, shipments, booking, registration, stocks, marketing activities and benchmarking of competitors, as well as customer complaints, warranty and training

Manage product portfolio of each markets, competitor product benchmarking, price rationalizing and market support programs, distributors planning and operation, launch timelines through engagement with various departments for good and efficient product orders, delivery and problem solving, network expansion and infrastructure upgrading and product trainings

Manage the Distribution Activity of each market to ensure good management of inventory through systematic tracking system and reporting

Develop good business rapport with government agencies, ministries, and automotive businessmen

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Preferably with 5 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, especially with a sales management background

Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff

Willing to travel internationally.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving solving and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Work Location based in Centre of Excellence, Shah Alam
