Paydibs is seeking a dedicated compliance professional to support the Head of Compliance in implementing and maintaining its compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks in Malaysia.
The role focuses on adhering to Bank Negara Malaysia requirements and relevant laws, with emphasis on AML/CFT controls and PCI DSS standards.
Support the Head of Compliance in implementing and maintaining the organization's compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), relevant laws and regulations, and applicable industry standards, including PCI DSS.
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization's policies, procedures, controls, and business activities.
Coordinate and monitor regulatory submissions, reporting obligations, and compliance deliverables to ensure timely and accurate submission to the relevant regulatory authorities.
Conduct and support regulatory gap assessments and assist in developing and monitoring remediation plans to address identified compliance gaps.
Support the Head of Compliance in managing regulatory engagements, including regulatory examinations, visits, information requests, and inquiries.
Support the implementation and monitoring of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
Review and provide input on compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure continued alignment with regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audit engagements, including monitoring audit findings, recommendations, and remediation actions.
Support the implementation and monitoring of the organization's risk management framework and related risk mitigation initiatives.
Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes and undertake compliance-related projects as required.
Maintain appropriate compliance documentation, records, and evidence to support regulatory and governance requirements.
Facilitate company-wide compliance awareness initiatives, including townhall sessions, and training on critical areas (e.g., PCI DSS Awareness).
Mentor and guide junior member of the compliance team (Senior Compliance Executive), providing direction on their work.
