Position: Assistant Company Secretary
Requirements / Job Description:
  1. Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar company secretarial or corporate governance role, preferably within an in-house legal team, or a fresh CGIgrad (ICSAgrad) graduate is encouraged to apply.
  2. Strong understanding of Malaysian company law and corporate governance best practices.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  5. Able to work with minimal supervision is preferred.
  6. Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  7. Providing secretarial support to the Board of Directors and Board Committees, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.
  8. Maintaining statutory company records and registers, ensuring all compliance obligations are fulfilled.
  9. Assisting with the organization of general meetings, including the preparation of notices, proxies, and other related documents.
  10. Liaising with regulatory authorities and other external parties on all corporate secretarial matters.
  11. Advising on corporate governance best practices and ensuring the company operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Assisting with ad hoc matters related to SSM or ROS filing.
  13. Providing administrative support to the management team as required.
