Position: Assistant Company Secretary
Requirements / Job Description:
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar company secretarial or corporate governance role, preferably within an in-house legal team, or a fresh CGIgrad (ICSAgrad) graduate is encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian company law and corporate governance best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Able to work with minimal supervision is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Providing secretarial support to the Board of Directors and Board Committees, including preparing agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents.
- Maintaining statutory company records and registers, ensuring all compliance obligations are fulfilled.
- Assisting with the organization of general meetings, including the preparation of notices, proxies, and other related documents.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and other external parties on all corporate secretarial matters.
- Advising on corporate governance best practices and ensuring the company operates in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assisting with ad hoc matters related to SSM or ROS filing.
- Providing administrative support to the management team as required.
