Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for implementing New Product Manufacturing Readiness process.
  2. Responsible for promoting and sustaining process stability in production and manufacturing.
  3. Responsible to implement and sustain company's CI culture.
  4. Responsible for promoting lean manufacturing / JCMS.
  5. Responsible for key projects planning, implementation and budget management (Project Management).
  6. Responsible for organizing and coordinating the global and Asia manufacturing stakeholder activities.
  7. Responsible for improving the productivity and automation levels.
  8. Responsible for conducting manufacturing capacity analysis based on the annual business plan and promoting annual improvement actions.
  9. Responsible for driving the completion of departmental and company annual improvement targets.
  10. Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing EHS related activities of the department.
    1. Responsible for the overall deployment, management, and coordination of EHS related work in the department.
    2. Responsible for organizing the investigation of accidents and incidents in the department and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
    3. Lead or participate in various safety activities and improvements.
    4. Uphold safety values, perform work activities in a safe manner and adhere to the responsibilities outlined in “Our Safety Commitment” statement.
    5. Ensure all employees under your direct management perform their safety obligations.
    6. Ensure a proper environmental, health and safety (EHS) management system is in place to identify and define the processes and procedures required.
    7. Ensure all employees receive the proper EHS training and induction prior to commencing their duties.
  11. To perform any other roles, responsibilities, duties, and activities assigned by the superior.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Education: Degree in Engineering discipline Minimum
  2. Language: Good written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
  3. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering background
  4. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the Sales & Production cycle of the air conditioning industry.
  5. Expert level knowledge on Lean and 6 Sigma implementation. Knowledge of ISO9001, 5S, OSHA requirements.
  6. Skills: PC skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. ERP - SAP
