Job summary
A restaurant in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional to oversee food and beverage operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities
- Ensure minimum and maximum food & beverage par stocks for all items, following quality quantity standards.
- Ensure all restaurant staff perform and prepare trading according to outlet policy.
- Implement a daily, weekly, and monthly checklist for all subordinates.
- Supervise all food and beverage service activities in the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the recruitment of all outlet staff, setting both tasks and qualifications.
- Train and motivate staff to achieve the highest standard of service and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities

- Implement a daily, weekly and monthly checklist for all subordinates. Ensure proper follow-up to attain maximum quality and efficiency.
- Keep aware of trends, systems, parties and equipment in food & beverage preparation and service through trade literature and actual visits.
- Participate in the preparation of a strategic action plan, marketing plan and goals program.
- Supervise all food and beverage service activities in the restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Plan and coordinate improvement in the operation and management of the restaurant to improve service and profits in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Assist with the recruitment of all outlet staff, setting both tasks and qualifications.
- Introduce all new staff to outlet facilities and services and explain all policies, tasks, procedures and standards to ensure the highest standard of service and enforcement of standard operating procedures in place.
- Identify café training needs, compile and approve training materials and programs in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Train and motivate staff to achieve the highest standard of service and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct performance appraisals of staff and prepare guidelines with an action plan stated and time frames for improvement.
- Participate in all staff and training meetings as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Ensure high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, clean and pressed uniforms and name badge as described in the employee handbook.
- Always keep updated with HR policies and other interrelated departments (e.g., FINANCE, IT, PURCHASING, CENTRAL KITCHEN, PASTRY KITCHEN, QAQC & TRAINING) to smooth retail operations and maintain efficient communications for duties assigned.
- Submit required complete documents (e.g., invoices, daily operation report, new recruitments, payroll summary) within the timeline.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.
