If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Assistant Business Development Director. In this role, you will assist the Head of Broking to activate, grow and expand productivity of Employee Benefits Scheme and to retain existing renewal business via broking channel.

The Role:

· Working with Superior to plan and strategize to achieve personal sales target by developing renewal and new business

· Responsible for business development of GID-EB through Broking Channel to achieve business targets

· Track sales performance and key initiatives to prepare weekly sales report

· Management of the day to day distribution support and activities for existing corporate clients

· Building and maintaining professional relationships and actively engage with brokers to ensure deliver and uphold high level of service experience

· Assist in organizing events, employee briefing, CUR presentation for corporate clients

· Monitor seamless implementation, including policy enrolment, briefing, policy set up and billing issuance

· Involve in projects or initiatives that will further grow the overall EB business

· Champion culture and conduct behavioral expectations within the Department/Division

· Collaborate proactively and transparently with internal stakeholders (Operation, Finance, Claims, etc) to optimize customer experience

· Follow-up on outstanding premiums & claims recoveries

· Comply Credit Control Procedure (CCP)

· Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks

· Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company

· Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

The Person:

· Degree / Diploma in Insurance, Business Studies & Marketing

· Minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience preferably in marketing or sales in financial industry

· Good communication skills - written and verbal

· Industry practices, knowledge on competitors & their products

· Proficient in MS Office - Microsoft Words, Excel, PowerPoint

· Flexible in terms of time in view of training/product or project, launches or functions or events during weekends, pubic holidays and after office hours

· Ability to communicate, present, persuade and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

· Sales and Customer Service that involves working with clients depend on skills related to evaluating needs, providing services, and adhering to quality standards

· Result-driven – Signifies that when work on project and always look to provide the best result

· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork

· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
