Job summary

Fastlane Group is seeking a dedicated Auditor to join our team. You will conduct detailed audits of financial statements, assess internal controls, and identify process improvements to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

The role requires on-site presence during the initial three months and offers a hybrid working model with opportunities to engage in regional audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven auditing experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant auditing experience in a client servicing role or accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Professional certification (CPA, CIA) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements in accordance with Hong Kong Standards on Auditing (HKSAs), applying HKFRS and IFRS.
• Manage audit fieldwork, prepare documentation and working papers, and review junior auditors' work.
• Conduct audits of financial statements and internal controls.
• Serve as client liaison, understanding needs and delivering high-quality audit advice.
• Identify significant audit findings and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Coordinate with Hong Kong audit teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit observations.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
• Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to deliver on schedule.
• Accountable for measurable deliverables and continuous improvement.
