Job summary

A dynamic company in the healthcare and beauty sector is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead their sales strategies and manage distributor relations. The role requires strong leadership skills, experience in FMCG, and effective communication to drive sales and ensure operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in related fields and at least three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in FMCG with skincare experience preferred.
• Candidates must be Mandarin-speaking.

Ø Lead the sales team / sub-distributor to meet company target with sales + channel strategies / planning & executions excellence.

Ø Deploy, manage and maximize trade investment (ROI driven).

Ø Lead and drive annual sales plan with retailer & sub-distributor.

Ø Plan for in-store 5Ps executions which include promotional effectiveness and efficiencies.

Ø Negotiate on new product launches, space management, additional secondary displaysand on promotional activities.

Ø Responsible for trade matters, feedback and day to day operational matters related toassigned retailers / business partner.

Ø To manage retailers & sub-distributor’s inventory, ensuring stock availability (on shelf availability) and order fulfilment.

Ø Monthly forecast alignment with supply chain and trade marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ø Min. Diploma in Business Studies/ Marketing or any related discipline.

Ø Min. 3 years in FMCG preferred with experience in skincare & independent supermarket channel with distributor management.

Ø Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin

Ø Positive, possess analytical skills and interpersonal skills.

Ø Technical skill:- Microsoft Office, demand planning, sales forecast, keyaccount & distributormanagement skill.

Ø Strong business and commercial acumen
