Job description

Assist in managing the operations of stores within the assigned area.

Enhance the in-store experience through cleanliness, quality control, layout optimization, and prompt resolution of customer complaints.

Collaborate closely with departments such as purchasing, merchandising, marketing, and admin to ensure effective execution of promotion mechanisms.

Manage retail manpower through periodic performance reviews, recruitment, and training.

Monitor sales targets, perform data analysis, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Oversee budgeting and control operational costs to maximize profitability.

Manage stock for trade items to minimize waste while ensuring availability.

Coordinate and participate in retail events.

Ensure retail operations comply with company standard operating procedures and local authorities’ requirements.

Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements
  • Minimum a Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 years of supervisory experience in retail operations, preferably in fresh markets, supermarkets, or hypermarkets.
  • Responsible, positive attitude, mature, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Own transportation and willingness to travel.
  • Willing to work beyond normal hours.
