Company Overview
This company is a diversified agro-based business group specializing in
integrated livestock farming, marine products manufacturing, and palm oil activities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and update periodic and ad-hoc financial reports for management.
- Ensure strict adherence to company accounting policies and approved financial standards.
- Conduct account analysis to verify accuracy and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and bankers.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, statutory reporting, GST, corporate tax, and other financial obligations.
- Undertake additional assigned duties as necessary.
- Support ad-hoc accounting and corporate finance projects.
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts within given deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA, Professional Certificate, or other recognized accounting qualifications.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience managing full sets of accounts, financial reporting, and group accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Preferably with audit experience.
- Location: Inanam, Sabah.
