Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in the accounting field.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Experience handling Singapore GST is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure reports are accurately prepared for management use.
  2. Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings in a timely manner.
  3. Prepare payroll in compliance with regulatory guidelines and ensure accuracy in payments.
  4. Handle and process intercompany billing, maintaining clear records for transparency and compliance.
  5. Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their performance and skills.
  6. Resolve escalated workflow issues within the accounts team, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
  7. Analyze the organization's financial data to support its growth.
  8. Identify cost-saving opportunities from financial reports.
  9. Identify financial performance trends and risks; make recommendations.
  10. Supervise employees' work, providing feedback and counsel to improve efficiency.
  11. Initiate improvement plans to achieve and surpass targets, working towards organizational goals.
  12. Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Director.
  13. Ensure all tasks are completed according to set timelines.
Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  2. Proficient in written and spoken English.
  3. At least 4 years of experience in the accounting field.
  4. Strong analytical skills for financial analysis.
  5. Familiarity with Excel or Google Spreadsheet is a plus.
  6. Experience handling Singapore GST is advantageous.
  7. Able to start immediately or on short notice preferred.
