Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Assistant Accounts Executive to manage finances. Responsibilities include preparing accounts, monitoring cash flow, and finalizing accounts for audits. The ideal candidate has a finance degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and accounting software is essential. Working as part of a team is also expected.

Responsibilities
  • Able to assist and prepare full set account with minimal supervision.
  • Assist day to day operational matters of account department
  • Assist in monitoring bank balance / cash flow position.
  • Able to perform cash flow and reports on monthly basis.
  • Able to finalize account for audit and tax purposes.
  • To support and participate in ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s diploma / degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field
  • Having 1-3 years of working experience in accounting or finance analysis
  • Able to work in a team and good sense of responsibility.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office and accounting software like Autocount & UBS
  • Good technical knowledge of accounting principles, and tax regulations
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
