Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Assistant Accounting Manager located in Senai, Johor.

What a typical day looks like
  1. Responsible for establishing operational objectives and managing financial accounting and control.
  2. Recommends modifications to existing site programs.
  3. Prepares reports that summarize company business activity and financial position.
  4. Approves new customer requests.
  5. Establishes or recommends proper accounting treatment or methods.
  6. Provides fiduciary responsibility with regards to disbursement of all company funds.
  7. Furnishes management with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
  8. Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
  9. Advises management on operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
  10. Arranges for audits of the company's accounts.
  11. Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
  12. Establishes relations with banks and financial institutions.
  13. May specialize in managing a subsection of the Finance function such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, General Ledger, Payroll, Shared Services, or other Accounting-related areas.
  14. Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
