W-LOCATE is a location-based services company headquartered in Singapore, currently servicing customers locally and across Asia Pacific. Through GPS integration into customers' ERP systems, we have established ourselves as the first company to track workflow, aiming to increase productivity and transparency.
This is a contract-based full-time position with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in full set accounting and audit, with a background in finance or IT; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with full set accounting and ERP/business systems; familiarity with Xero, Netsuite, Native, Zoho Books, or CRMs will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a good team player with an open-minded, enthusiastic, and responsible attitude.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (lookup, match, pivot tables, IF statements), with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Exposure to system integration, automation scripts, database configuration, workflows, escalations, and reporting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Understanding of full set accounting including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet.
- Ability to work in line with e-invoicing implementation.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Process AP and AR transactions by raising invoices or supplier bills in the cloud accounting system based on scanned documents received via email.
- Handle banking transactions and bank reconciliations for all entities promptly.
- Assist and liaise with customers and suppliers through email, WhatsApp, or other communication tools.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of management reports, financial statements, and detailed analyses as per the timelines set by the Group and management.
- Coordinate with external accountants on various aspects.
- Prepare audit schedules and ensure disclosures are in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support financial accounting, finance system projects, and prioritize key initiatives efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the Group Corporate Finance Accountant and management.
- Manage staff claims and allowances promptly.
