Job Summary:

As an Accountant Assistant at MasterPay Global Sdn. Bhd.., you will assist the accounting department in handling various financial and administrative tasks. You will support the preparation of financial reports, handle daily bookkeeping tasks, and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Support: Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.

Invoice Processing: Assist in processing invoices and ensuring that payments are made and received in a timely manner.

• Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.

Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and ensure accuracy.

Assist in Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Reports: Help in preparing financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Tax Preparation Assistance: Support in the preparation of tax documents and assist with tax filing and compliance.

Audit Preparation: Assist in gathering and preparing documentation for audits.

General Administration: Assist with general administrative tasks in the finance department, including filing and organizing financial documents.

Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to address financial inquiries and ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or finance environment.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.

• Previous experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus.

➢ Work Arrangement: This is an on-site position.

➢ Work Location: Menara Exchange 106, TRX (Tun Razak Exchange), Kuala Lumpur.

➢ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
