ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER (MANUFACTURING)

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle a full spectrum of finance functions for the subsidiaries.
  • Perform financial analyses to highlight areas for improvement and variances to management.
  • Manage credit control and follow-up on customer-due accounts.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Supervise and guide subordinates in their respective functions such as financial reporting, accounts receivables, accounts payables, costing, fixed assets, and banking to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure statutory compliance including auditor reports, company tax reruns, sales returns, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Assist in all accounting functions, budgeting, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Interact and liaise with auditors, tax agents, insurance agents, and regulators to ensure timely submission of statutory audits, corporate tax, income tax, and SST filings.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and stay highly organized.
  • Strong leadership skills, proactive, and result-oriented.
  • Willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis to locations such as Bandar Enstek, Batu Pahat, Kalimantan, etc.
