About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our growing Finance team at JM Auto Gallery Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be based in our Butterworth, Penang office and play a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and accounting practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist the Account Manager in all aspects of financial accounting and reporting
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What We're Looking For

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar assistant accounting or finance role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
