- Expected salary: RM3,000 - RM6,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to company standards and deadlines.
- Prepare financial reports and analyses for management, highlighting key trends, variances, and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing insights on financial performance and cost management.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Executive, or similar role with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting, and accounting procedures.
