Job summary

Bumi Armada Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer to support inspection and maintenance programs for static equipment across topside and marine assets. You will review reports, assess corrosion rate, and perform remaining life calculations in collaboration with Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities include RBI support, fitness-for-service assessments as per API 579, and ensuring compliance with CLASS, Codes & Standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Marine / Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Preferably background in Asset Integrity Management (AIM) for Process Containment System, PSV, Hull & Structures.
• Preferably exposure to FPSO/FLNG operations.
• Basic knowledge of temporary repair per ASME PCC2.
• Basic knowledge of various NDT methods and applicability.

Responsibilities

• Manage static equipment inspection program including planning, monitoring and implementation.
• Review Inspection Reports and provide recommendations on findings including suitability of techniques.
• Handle defects & anomalies until closure.
• Provide support on RBI and corrosion calculations for RBI assessments.
• Assist in Fitness for Service assessments based on API 579 as needed.
• Contribute to safety improvements.
• Prepare inspection guidelines and document updates for asset integrity improvements.
• Support new projects with asset integrity documentation for FEED/EPCI.
