Job summary

Kemikon Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Technician to perform electrical and mechanical assembly on the production line, support LEAN/CIP initiatives, and help keep the premises clean and compliant with applicable laws and standards.

Responsibilities include assembling and packing per work instructions, reporting issues promptly to the cell leader, developing and improving production aids, and contributing to continuous improvement and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2-3 years work experience in an industrial assembly/manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
• English, intermediate level in oral and basic level in written.
• Good computer literacy preferred, Microsoft Office.

• Reporting any problems to the CELL LEADER/CELL LEADER ASSITANT in reasonable time
• Developing, constructing and improving special production aids including CREFORM structures and tool boards
• Supporting the continuous improvement process (CIP)

• Supporting the overall process and corporate decision making

The Technician performs electrical/mechanical assembly tasks in the production line. He/she also plays an active role in the LEAN philosophy/continues improvement (CIP). In addition, he/she helps keeping our premises clean and follows the management policies in respect of the applicable law and standards.
