Job description
Level Up with a Studio That Builds Worlds Worth Playing

Our client is a dynamic, independent game development studio dedicated to creating high-quality online multiplayer experiences. Focused primarily on PC platforms—with plans to expand into mobile—the studio brings beloved entertainment IPs to life through immersive and globally resonant content. Currently working on an ambitious MMORPG rooted in the Digimon universe, they collaborate with passionate fan communities and an international team to push the creative and technical boundaries of gaming.

Job Description

As the Art Lead / 3D Pipeline Coordinator, you’ll lead a small but highly skilled team in the development of 3D game assets for a large-scale MMORPG. In addition to your leadership role, you’ll be hands‑on in one of the key areas of production—Modeling, Rigging & Animation, or VFX—serving a dual role as both a strategic leader and a critical production contributor. You will shape the 3D art pipeline, guide the team in best practices, and ensure that all visual assets are delivered to spec, on time, and optimized for in‑engine use.

Job Overview

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM (Semi‑Flexi)

Work Setup: Permanent Work From Home

Exciting Perks Await!
  • 5+ years of experience in 3D game art production (3–5 years acceptable for exceptional candidates)
  • Expertise in at least one core art discipline (Modeling, Rigging & Animation, or VFX)
  • Candidates must be confident enough in their specialization to take full ownership of that domain
  • Proficiency in at least two 3D disciplines (among modeling, rigging, animation, VFX)
  • Solid understanding of the full 3D art pipeline, with technical know‑how in file exporting, naming standards, animation sequencing, and FX implementation
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with small or cross‑functional art teams (strict must‑have)
  • Familiarity with game engines—Gamebryo/NetImmerse experience is a major plus, though proficiency in Unreal or Unity is acceptable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to produce or guide the creation of low-poly, cartoon/anime‑style assets
Nice to Have
  • Previous exposure to MMORPG development or Digimon-inspired projects

  • Design and document a scalable 3D asset pipeline compatible with the legacy Gamebryo engine
  • Ensure smooth asset integration, including rigging setups, animation sequencing, FX triggers, and naming conventions
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and client stakeholders on milestone planning and production reviews
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and optimize the 3D asset pipeline
  • Maintain detailed process documentation to support onboarding and handovers
  • Assist in art assessments based on candidate specializations (e.g., modeling a Digimon or animating a rig)
