Art Director

Responsibilities
  • Produce engaging and relevant creative concepts and content that meets the client brief and OLIVER’s exacting internal standards while positively influencing clients with your creative input.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the client's marketing strategy to deliver high quality results.
  • Work closely with the creative team to create engaging print and digital content across platforms.
  • Ensure all work created by the team adheres to guidelines and best practices of the platform.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the designers who report into you.
  • Foster a culture of creativity while keeping client-centricity at the core of all activities.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of finished artwork files that comply with correct output specifications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest category and creative trends and consistently implement them into our creative product.
  • The types of work include:
    • New Campaign Ideation
    • Social Media (posts, reels, carousels, GIFs, etc.)
    • E-Commerce (Hero images, supplementary images, etc.)
    • Digital (Banners, Emailers, etc.)
    • Print & Outdoor (Press, Magazine, Brochures, OOH / Digital OOH, etc.)
    • Basic Video Assets (GIFs, Post Animations, Cut-Downs for Social, etc.)
Qualifications
  • This role includes both video and basic motion/editing skills.
  • A minimum of 8 years in design at/across top-level agencies.
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients.
  • Experience working on at least one large-scale multinational brand.
  • Previous experience with a Banking or Finance brand is optional but good to have.
  • Ability to manage and filter workflow, organize, and prioritize workloads to maximise productivity.
  • Creative ability with strong Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Basic After Effects experience or other digital animation software and video editing tool.
  • Working knowledge of print and digital design and its requirements.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team while maintaining a top-tier agency service.
  • Languages: English proficiency is required.
