Job Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and versatile Art Director / Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about translating brand values into powerful, visually striking designs across multiple channels; from digital and packaging to store experiences and events. The Art Director will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing compelling designs that align with our brand identity, campaign objectives, and marketing strategies. This role requires both strong creative vision and hands-on design skills, as well as leadership in guiding a creative team.

GLEAM TEAM Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the creative direction of campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms (print, digital, social media, packaging, in-store, etc.).
  • Develop and present creative concepts, storyboards, and mood boards to stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop innovative design concepts that effectively communicate Lumi’s brand messaging
  • Create a variety of digital and print designs, including websites, social media graphics, brochures, advertisements, packaging, event visuals, and launch materials
  • Contribute to brand engagement activities including pop-ups, in-store experiences, and other marketing events
  • Ensure design consistency and uphold brand integrity across all touchpoints and deliverables
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to elevate the quality and effectiveness of all creative output
  • Provide art direction and mentorship to junior designers, supporting skill development and creative growth within the team
  • Participate in creative ideation and brainstorming sessions to develop innovative store visuals and display concepts
  • Translate market insights and consumer behavior into impactful visual merchandising that captivates customers and drives engagement and sales
  • Lead the creative vision for in-store experiences from concept to execution, ensuring all visual elements align with Lumi’s brand identity and aesthetics
  • Manage and execute the brand image across physical and digital environments, ensuring all store displays and marketing materials meet brand objectives
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and operations teams to align visual displays with marketing calendars and product assortments
  • Develop store planogram and work closely with operations on product placement and in-store execution strategies
What does it take to be part of the GLEAM TEAM
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in graphic design (experience in beauty, lifestyle, or retail is a plus)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work across digital, print, and environmental design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma, Canva, or motion design software is a plus
  • Solid understanding of typography, color, layout, and brand systems
  • Strong eye for detail and a deep appreciation for aesthetics and storytelling
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and articulate ideas clearly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in retail design, merchandising, or visual display is a major advantage
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus for regional collaboration
