Job Description
- Develop and implement annual business plans aligned with sales strategy and brand objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and craft localized strategies to grow market share.
- Drive category growth and availability across trade channels.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Distributor Sales Representatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, field coaching, and training to build commercial capability.
- Manage and grow strong business relationships with distributors and key customers.
- Monitor and optimize distributor performance (coverage, ROI, inventory, execution standards).
- Lead monthly distributor performance reviews and implement joint business plans (JBP).
- Monitor trade spend efficiency and ensure effective use of promotional budgets.
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and competitor activity to make data-driven decisions.
- Provide accurate forecasts and reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or regional role.
- Proven experience in distributor management, modern trade, and general trade.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned area.
