We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead a high-performance team of Clinical Nutrition Executives (CNE). The role involves ensuring the effective and ethical promotion of Nestlé Health Science products to Healthcare Professionals.

A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager
  • Plan marketing and promotional activities within the assigned area, based on sales and marketing reviews.
  • Develop a quarterly action plan with the NSM, outlining objectives and strategies to achieve them, including resource allocation, samples, detailing, and marketing materials.
  • Execute a field coverage plan targeting key contacts/customers in the NHS Business within the territory to meet sales and budget targets.
  • Organize and conduct regular team meetings to enhance training, communicate strategies, and follow up on action points.
  • Coach, appraise, motivate, and lead Medical Doctors and Nutrition Executives to achieve business objectives and support professional development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and top officials aligned with the business plan.
  • Utilize the SFE program to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the medical sales team.
What will make you successful
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in pharma or medical equipment sales.
  • Proven experience managing and collaborating with a sales team.
  • Experience developing long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, including consultants, specialists, nurses, and paramedics.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively to meet business goals.
  • Experience organizing activities related to adult nutrition, products, R&D, etc., with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to operate independently and achieve goals in challenging market environments.
