As an Area Sales Manager in a fast-growing sleep health company, your role is pivotal in driving the mission of improving sleep health across Malaysia. By leading a team of medical sales specialists, you will empower healthcare providers with diagnostic and therapy solutions, ensuring better outcomes for patients. This position is critical in achieving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and maintaining our reputation as a leader in sleep health solutions.

What You Do

  • Manage and mentor team members to achieve sales targets by promoting and selling our medical solutions to healthcare providers.
  • Plan and execute territory coverage with team, ensuring regular visits and engagement with key accounts.
  • Develop trust and long-term partnerships with doctors, hospital staff, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Deliver product presentations and demos; support training for healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
  • Work with marketing, logistics, and clinical support teams to ensure excellent customer experience.

Who You Are

  • A junior people manager with Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Medical Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of medical sales experience, including 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Background in Sleep Care, CPAP, respiratory-related, medical device or relevant areas.
  • A sales-driven people manager who excels at building and maintaining strong working relationships with doctors, collaborating to provide effective sleep diagnostics and treatment options to improve patient outcomes.
  • Skilled in client relationship management, with a focus on fostering trust and long-term partnerships rather than just selling products.
  • Adept at leveraging CRM tools and sales analytics to enhance performance and ensure seamless customer relationship management.
  • Passionate about healthcare innovation, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and medical products.
