Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Executive to manage and grow our customer base within a designated territory in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our products/services to maximize market share in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned area.

Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients and distributors.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by providing excellent service and support.

Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.

Report on area performance, customer feedback, and market developments to management.

Ensure accurate and timely order processing and follow-up.

Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.

Represent the company at local trade shows, events, and promotions when needed.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

1–3 years of sales experience (Fresh graduates with strong potential will be considered).

Good knowledge of the local market within the assigned territory.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.

Possess a valid driving license and own transport.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage, depending on the region).

Preferred:

Experience in [industry, e.g., FMCG, pharmaceutical, or consumer electronics].

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
