Job summary

A leading company in Malaysia is seeking an Architectural Supervisor to oversee construction sites and ensure compliance with architectural designs and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 8-10 years of experience, especially in high-rise projects, ensuring quality standards and effective coordination among various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of solid experience in building construction.
• Able to interact with clients and subcontractors effectively.
• Experience handling high-rise buildings is required.

Job description

-Architectural work on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.

-Coordinate with engineers, contractors, site managers, and subcontractors to resolve architectural and design issues.

-Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and progress of architectural finishes and construction elements.

-Ensure accurate translation of architectural drawings into physical structures.

-Review and approve architectural shop drawings, materials, and samples.

-Suggest and oversee necessary design modifications based on site conditions or client requests.

-Ensure adherence to local building regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

-Prepare and maintain detailed site records, progress reports, and architectural compliance documentation.

-Enforce safety practices and sustainable building methods.

-Assist the Project Manager in scheduling, cost estimation, and procurement for architectural materials and services.

-Monitor contractor performance related to architectural work and report deficiencies or delays.

-Participate in site meetings and provide architectural input during coordination sessions.

Job Requirement

-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent.

-Minimum 8 to 10 years of solid experience in the building construction industry.

-Experience handling high-rise buildings is required.

-Able to interact with multi-levels of management personnel within the organization and third parties such as clients, consultants and subcontractors.

-Responsible, disciplined, hardworking and a team player.

-Job location will be based in the Kuala Lumpur Site.
