Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design is required.
• Must be registered with Board of Architects Malaysia as Architectural Inspector of Works.
• Minimum 5 years' site supervision experience, preferably in medical facilities.
• Independence, initiative, high attention to detail, and minimal supervision.
• Willing to work long hours and high integrity; contract-based employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction works to contract drawings and specs.
• Inspect all stages of architectural and ID works including piling, structural, M&E, external, and infrastructure works.
• Ensure materials meet approved specs and inspection test plans.
• Check setting out, alignment, dimensions and levels before, during and after construction.
• Identify remedial/outstanding works and ensure contractors complete within contractual time.
• Provide regular progress reports to superiors and document issues with non-conforming works.
• Witness and record testing and mock-up inspections.
• Maintain documentation of inspection reports, site records, and photographic evidence.
• Keep project documents and data organized; prepare as-built drawings on completion and handover.
