Requirements
Proficiency in English, Malay, and preferably Chinese, as we serve Chinese clients.
At least 2 years of experience preferred.
Degree in Architecture or equivalent to LAM Part 2, M. Arch, or B. Arch; or Part 1/Diploma as an Architectural Assistant.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficient in AutoCAD (GstarCAD), SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Additional skills in Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape are a plus.
Ability to plan team work to meet project deadlines and schedules.
Familiar with local authority submission processes and building laws.
Knowledge of building technologies, materials, and construction.
Understanding of building contracts (PAM Contract).
Ability to liaise confidently with clients, authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Resourceful, creative, proactive, and motivated to deliver quality work.
Willing to travel as needed.
Passion and flair for architecture.
Job Description
Manage projects from schematic design to completion under supervision.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Prepare presentations, participate in meetings, and facilitate discussions.
Translate sketches and ideas into detailed drawings and 3D visuals.
Coordinate with colleagues and consultants for approvals and submissions.
Follow up with authorities until permits are obtained.
Prepare tender documents in collaboration with team members and consultants.
Supervise construction contracts, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage documentation.
Ensure timely completion of tasks with quality drawings.
Update superiors and clients on project progress.
Perform any other reasonable duties.
