What are we looking for

The Cosentino team is seeking an Architect & Designer Sales Manager for Kuala Lumpur.

You will be responsible for developing our strategy and managing relationships with clients, promoting and selling Cosentino products. Your duties will include acquiring new customers and maintaining existing ones, understanding client needs to meet their expectations, and ensuring excellent service across sales channels. Knowledge of the kitchen and stone industry is desirable. You will work with K&B stores, fabricators, and interior designers to generate leads.

What you will do
  1. Develop short- and long-term sales plans targeting architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, property owners, and service providers to promote work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
  2. Identify new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, and property managers involved in new developments or renovations.
  3. Present and promote the organization’s products to architects, designers, and relevant organizations.
  4. Implement sales plans within agreed timelines, coordinating with customers and management.
  5. Maintain accurate records of relationships, product placements, and project details using the sales database (Salesforce CRM).
  6. Manage the sales development of Cosentino surfacing products.
  7. Focus on exterior applications within the core geography, staying aware of market trends and pursuing profitable opportunities for growth.
  8. Represent and promote Cosentino in the community by hosting and attending local events.
  9. Ensure timely communication and management of sales programs, including updating collateral, technical data, samples, mockups, and proposals.
  10. Manage personal sales budget, maintaining discipline to stay within sales and expense targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  11. Support regional rollout programs, which may include travel outside the assigned area to engage with owners, fabricators, and contractors. Advance notice will be given for travel.
  12. Commit to ongoing learning about Cosentino products, application, and installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  13. Provide market insights and sales data to senior management.
  14. Coordinate with account managers, partners, fabricators, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
What you need to succeed

Required Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years in commercial projects.
  • Experience with customer databases; Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience in stone fabrication or distribution.
