We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect / Architectural Assistant to support the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing design proposals, technical drawings, and coordination with consultants, ensuring projects meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing design concepts and architectural plans for residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments. Prepare drawings, presentations, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD and BIM software. Coordinate with consultants to ensure design compliance with local authorities and regulations. Conduct site visits and monitor construction to ensure alignment with design intent and approved plans. Review shop drawings, material samples, and specifications. Prepare and submit documents for planning and authority approvals. Support in project tendering, documentation, and contract administration as required. Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements:

For Architect: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

For Architectural Assistant: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field. LAM Part I or equivalent is preferred. Proficient in design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of Malaysian building by-laws, submission procedures, and development guidelines.

Strong design sense with attention to detail and technical accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).

Preferred:

Previous internship or working experience in architectural firms or property developers.

Experience with 3D rendering tools (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray).

Familiar with green building certification processes (e.g., GBI, LEED).
