Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop design concepts that align with the company’s development vision and target market.
- Review and manage architectural drawings to ensure compliance with local authorities’ regulations and guidelines.
- Liaise with appointed consultants to ensure design quality, cost efficiency, and constructability.
- Prepare and manage design briefs, feasibility studies, and site layout plans.
- Oversee the submission and approval process for planning and building permits.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design without compromising quality.
- Ensure architectural designs meet internal standards, brand identity, and sustainability goals.
- Provide design input during project meetings with internal teams such as Sales & Marketing and Project Implementation.
- Support construction teams by resolving design-related site issues and reviewing technical drawings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovative design practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Minimum LAM Part II qualification (recognized Bachelor’s + Master’s in Architecture or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–5 years of architectural experience, with exposure to residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Experience working with or within property development companies is an added advantage.
- Strong design sensibility with understanding of market-driven development.
- Familiarity with local planning guidelines, authority submission processes, and construction standards.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite) and Microsoft Office.
