Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated software developer to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications under guidance from line managers and senior developers, and contribute to improving features and performance.

You will write clean code, participate in code reviews, document technical details, and support testing, deployment, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems under the guidance of Line Manager and senior developers.
• Develop and enhance software features, modules, and functionalities based on business and technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented source code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues identified during development and testing.
• Develop and execute unit tests, prepare detailed test cases, and support system integration and user acceptance testing activities.
• Document test results, track defects, and assist in verifying that reported issues have been resolved.
• Participate in code reviews and implement improvements based on feedback from senior team members.
• Assist in gathering and analysing user requirements, system functionality, and performance feedback.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvements.
• Assist in system deployment, configuration, and software release activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system documentation, technical specifications, user guides, and operating manuals.
• Update user manuals and related documentation whenever software enhancements or new features are introduced.
• Support users by investigating reported issues and providing technical assistance where appropriate.
• Participate in project meetings, technical discussions, sprint planning sessions, and other software development activities
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, programming languages, frameworks, tools, and software development methodologies relevant to the role.
• Comply with the Company's policies, procedures, information security requirements, and quality standards.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management
