Job summary

Schlumberger Malaysia (Johor) is seeking a Machinist Apprentice to join the OneSubsea Apprentices Program. You will gain hands-on machining exposure while following company values, policies and HSSE requirements.

The program covers on-job training, classroom modules, quarterly progress updates, and four CI projects in the first two years, with fresh entrants encouraged to apply and contribute to departmental KPIs.

Qualifications

Fresh entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Diploma in electrical, mechanical, CNC/mechatronic or welding fields.

Responsibilities

To complete OneSubsea Apprentices Program within the specified guidelines.
To complete On Job Training modules as stated.
To complete training plans for one type of machine.
To complete On Job Training competency assessments.
To complete classroom training modules and quarterly progress presentations.
To deliver and implement four CI projects in the first two years.
To support department objectives and KPIs and HSSE safety rules.
To maintain good housekeeping and meet the SLP-3 expectations.

Education

Diploma in electrical / mechanical / CNC/mechatronic/ welding

Job description

Machinist Apprentice is responsible to complete OneSubsea Apprentices Program within the timeframe. To gain exposure in machining and execute Apprentice’s role and responsibility and comply with company values, policies and HSSE requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

To complete and comply with OneSubsea Apprentices Program as per Guideline for Apprentice program
To complete On Job Training modules as stated below :-
To complete training plan for 1 type of machines.
To complete On Job Training competency assessment
To complete classroom training modules
To complete presentation every quarter to update progress of learning.
To complete total 4 CI projects which approved and implemented throughout the first 2 years in apprentice training program.
To perform and support the Departments Objectives and KPI’s set by the Management.
To achieve meet expectation in SLP-3
Comply to company and HSSE safety requirements.
To ensure good housekeeping at workplace.
