About the Role
- Support and manage BNM systems, IT infrastructure, and daily operations.
- Translate user needs into technical specifications and ensure quality development.
- Coordinate with vendors and project managers to meet deliverables.
- Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance.
- Maintain documentation, assist in testing, and train users on best practices.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution timelines.
- Building relationships with business partners and managing resources internally and externally as collaboration strategy for a smooth IT operation.
- Evaluate documented resolution and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems.
- Field incoming help requests from users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.
- Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems to the appropriately experienced technician.
- Record, track and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution.
- Test fixes to ensure the problem has been adequately resolved.
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.
- Ensure applications comply with organizational policies and security standards.
- Participate in audits and implement necessary controls.
Skills, certifications and experience you possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
- Possess at least 5 years’ experience in banking and minimum 2 years of experience in Bank supporting BNM application systems and IT infrastructure support, including projects and Disaster Recovery.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of SQL, Java, Unix, Jira and current technologies, and industry trends.
- Knowledge of security protocols, compliance, and risk management in application services.
- Expert knowledge about computer applications and scripting knowledge.
- Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions that positively impact the organization.
