Then come and join our Siemens Healthineers Malaysia team as Application Specialist, Laboratory Solutions. A key role of an application specialist is to maintain high customer satisfaction by providing product line application expertise, assisting with instrument installation, training, and ongoing support.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will provide reactive technical support on-site and online to ensure instrument uptime and customer satisfaction by troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
- You will escalate unresolved issues and monitor their resolution.
- You will deliver comprehensive training tailored to customer needs.
- You will support new installations and existing customer needs.
- You will configure instruments, perform Method Verification, and optimize workflows.
- You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure timely and quality installations, including updates and upgrades.

Qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a relevant life science field.
- At least 3 years of experience as an Application Specialist or in a clinical laboratory.
- Experience with method verification studies is an advantage.
Skills and personal qualities:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- IT knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Control.
- Based in Johor Bahru, willing to relocate as needed.
- Flexible working hours and travel willingness required.
