• Provide application support and enhancements for applications used in the bank.
• Perform Level 2 and 3 production support.
• Investigate problems — identify issues, perform root cause analysis, define solutions, develop, and implement fixes.
• Understand system design and assess impact of changes.
• Enhance and fix defects at the code level.
• Manage system risks and suggest improvements to mitigate them.
• Work closely with users to understand their needs and issues.
• Provide technical support for applications based on:
• Java technology with WebLogic/Websphere/JBoss OR
• .NET technology with Microsoft IIS
• Platform knowledge on Linux/UNIX or Windows Server
• Database knowledge on MS SQL or Oracle
• Knowledge of Banking IT environment is a plus.
• Provide 24x7 offsite standby support on a rotational basis.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possess a pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be proactive and a team player.
• Able to collaborate with cross-border colleagues.
• Work location options: Menara OCBC or Cyberjaya.
