Job Summary :

The Application Engineer supports customers in the glass manufacturing/processing industry by providing technical and application assistance. Working closely with Sales, Design, and Production teams, they help recommend and implement suitable Fused Silica solutions. They also assist in high-value sales projects, build market knowledge, and identify opportunities for product development and market growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Customer Interactions: Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, including providing training, technical presentations and demos.
• Collaboration with Sales and Design teams.
• Testing & Validation of solutions.
• Troubleshooting & issue resolution.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Ceramic Materials, or a related field. Equivalent experience in the glass industry will also be considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within the glass manufacturing or processing sector.
• Solid understanding of glass manufacturing processes including melting, forming, annealing, coating, and finishing.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset. Skilled in root cause analysis and resolving operational issues efficiently.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Able to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience preparing technical documentation, reports, and training materials.
• Ability to gather market insights, analyze customer feedback, and monitor competitors to support continuous product and process improvements.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel regionally and internationally (25%–75%).
• Possession of a valid driving license.
