The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with strong mechanical and electrical expertise. This role entails troubleshooting, supporting sales, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Application Engineer will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues on-site, support sales activities, and enhance customer relationships in SEA markets.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within the AHU manufacturing industry.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical guidance on product applications and specifications to HVAC manufacturers and customers.
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to our products.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning at customer sites.

Product & Project Management:

  • Work closely with the R&D and Product Management teams to provide market feedback.
  • Assist in new product introduction, training, and application development.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet customer expectations in terms of quality and performance.

Customer Service & Collaboration:

  • Serve as the key liaison between customers and internal teams.
  • Provide technical training and support to customers and distributors.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the HVAC industry or working with HVAC manufacturers.
  • Technical Skills: Solid expertise in Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge, be able to use Auto CAD, 3D will be a plus; PLC and drives relative on-site experience and/or understanding HVAC systems are preferred.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to balance technical expertise with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Networking: Established relationships in the AHU manufacturing sector are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, customer-centric approach, and ability to work well in a team oriented environment
