Job summary

Redstack Group in Setia Alam, Malaysia, is seeking a full-time Application Engineer to design, code, and improve backend software and related hardware server networks.

You will write and test code, debug programs, and integrate applications with third-party web services while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Proficient in SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, optimization).
• Experience with data migration, data analysis and database administration.
• Familiar with APIs, ETL processes and database platforms (SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of IoT and AI integration and cloud-based servers.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP).

Job description

This full-time, on-site role as a Application Engineer at Redstack Group is located in Setia Alam, Malaysia. This role will be responsible for designing, coding, improving backend software/systems and hardware server network. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. The role requires working closely with other developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Proficient in SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers, optimization).
• Experience in data migration, data analysis, and database administration.
• Familiarity with database integration, APIs, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of database platforms such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in IoT and AI intergration and familiar with Cloud based server.
• Proficiency in Programming, including Object-oriented Programming (OOP)
