Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Professional Division is recruiting on behalf of a prominent regulatory body in the financial services sector. Our esteemed client is seeking a qualified professional to join their team as Application Architect (Collaboration).
Job Summary
The Application Architect will be responsible for managing and administering both SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and a secure user experience. This role includes developing business solutions with the Power Platform and supporting collaboration initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Hybrid SharePoint Management
* Oversee and integrate SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments (SharePoint Server 2019).
* Ensure performance, patch management, upgrades, compliance, and data security across platforms.
Power Platform Development
* Design, build, and deploy low-code/no-code business solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
* Integrate solutions with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services.
Governance, Compliance, and Security
* Implement data governance and compliance measures, including Microsoft Purview and DLP controls.
* Manage security configurations across environments.
Collaboration and End-User Support
* Provide training, guidance, and troubleshooting support to users.
* Drive the adoption of new features and promote a culture of self-service collaboration.
Hybrid Integration and Automation
* Ensure integration of SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 tools.
* Manage hybrid workflows to maintain consistent data flow.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
* Monitor system performance, resolve issues, optimize resource utilization, and manage backups.
System Upgrades and Patch Management
* Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and new feature updates.
Collaboration with IT Teams and Development
* Collaborate with IT teams for migrations, integrations, and customizations.
* Work with developers to create custom SharePoint solutions.
Project Management
* Support corporate projects, ensuring system performance, security, and data integrity.
* Manage both development and production environments.
Disaster Recovery
* Assist in designing and maintaining disaster recovery solutions to meet RTO and RPO requirements.
Key Requirements
Education and Professional Qualification
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Microsoft 365 certifications such as Teams Administrator Associate, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, and Power Platform Developer Associate are an added advantage.
Experience
* At least 3-5 years of experience in Microsoft M365 SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016/2019 environments.
* Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint systems.
* Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
Technical Competencies
* Deep understanding of hybrid SharePoint environments, including configuration and integration.
* Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online site collections, document libraries, and permission management.
* Strong knowledge in Power Automate and SharePoint Designer workflow.
